J.R. Waldon, AKA DJ gNO has been heavily influenced by music all his life. He never played any musical instuments growing up however his passion for music has been the one constant in his life. Dj gNO interned and was hired by Emmis Communications former radio station 105.7 in 2001 as a remote broadcast tech and used to set up the DJ’s equipment. After finishing undergrad and moving to new york city J.R. found another internship in the city with Universal Music Group and soon thereafter landed a job working with 98.7 Kiss FM and Hot 97 in their marketing departments. Simultaneously J.R. became quite the nightlife efficianado as he did marketed and promoted at several of NYC’s nightclubs. With the nightlife becoming more competitive and less lucrative J.R. started thinking about ways to evolve in a positive way. In 2006 J.R. promoted and frequented a nightclub called Stereo who always kept a rotation of solid DJ’s spinning. the venue had its DJ booth set up in the VIP so it was easy to see the DJ’s do their thing. The new serato technology caught his attention so he found his nights at Stereo watching every DJ such as Suss One, Juske, and DJ AM perform. With some consultation from DJ Indiana Jones, and as a result of experiencing such wonderful talent at Stereo and other NYC venues, J.R. was inspired to evolve into DJ gNO. In August of 2009 DJ gNO started spinning regularly at Greenhouse as well as Lucky Jacks. DJ gNO mixes your favorite music without limit to any genre. His focus is on aiding the clients initiatives and satisfying the crowd.

Born and raised in Toronto, DJ Swiss has the city’s vibe coursing through his veins. Swiss is focused on speaking his listener’s language – from hip-hop, R&B, house, rock, funk, reggae, soca, electro, to old-school. His precise selections and versatility derive from a deep love of music, one that renders Swiss capable of moving any crowd.

Swiss’ work ethic and passion has had him play at various clubs and venues throughout Toronto. His skills and energy have caught the attention of promoters across the city leading to opportunities such as spinning at R&B artist Massari’s concert, super producer Boi-1da’s “Forever” birthday party, and an old school retro party featuring the R&B group Next and hip-hop pioneers MC Lyte and Doug E Fresh. Endlessly challenging himself, Swiss has also spun at fashion shows, colleges, weddings, parties and retail stores (XTC Design and Urban Behaviour).

His family from Bahia, the musical center of Brazil, moved frequently within New Jersey exposing Sanchez to a wide variety of taste and attitudes. “I have never listened to just one type of music,” he reminisces. “Between moving and having five older brothers and a sister with diverse tastes from ABBA to freestyle to disco to industrial new wave, I learned to appreciate all kinds of music early on. I began to see how they all worked together.”
